Continuous Self Development Circle for HSPs
This circle is intended for HSPs who want to learn & grow. You will learn how to recognise and handle strong emotions, overstimulation, overarousal, triggering situations and dysfunctional habits like for example rumination, shutting off, giving in or acting out.
The circle is a closed group of HSPs that meet every week. Every 2 weeks there’s a group session led by me (Francisco). In this session new theory/exercises are introduced. Every other week there’s a sharing session, where group members can share about their personal experiences.
The main ‘method’ we use is mindfulness. Mindfulness is a way to explore our inner and outer world. On top of that, we can use mindfulness as a way of responding to events, like when we feel overstimulated.
Taken together (exploring & responding), we can ‘use’ mindfulness to grow. To learn how we are conditioned by our upbringing, environments and society. To learn to respond differently to things. To connect to our deeper, more authentic selves, and in the process finding more self-acceptance.
Themes we will work with:
– managing overstimulation
– recognising overarousal
– schemas (sensitivities) and their triggers
– negative beliefs
With the Continuous Self Development Circle for HSPs, I try to offer an environment that helps you on your personal journey. First of all, having a group of people around you on a similar journey helps you finding and keeping focus and motivation. Second, the different themes which I introduce regularly (for example self-acceptance or negative thought patterns) can serve as orientation point in your personal journey.
To be clear, this is not a stand alone meetup, workshop or a course. If you join, then you will be part of a small group of HSPs (maximum 10 persons) who have the intention to develop themselves. There’s no fixed starting date, so you can join anytime.
The Continuous Self Development Circle for HSPs costs 80 euro per 2 months. There are reduction possibilities for people with no or little income. There’s no subscription: after each 2 months cycle you can decide to continue or not.
* If you like to join
Are you interested? You can join a session without any commitment. Just send me (Francisco) an email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
* Who Am I
My name is Francisco Beisterveld (40). I’m a mindfulness trainer and psychologist. Being HSP myself, I decided to specialise in High Sensitivity. I teach mindfulness workshops and courses in Amsterdam and Utrecht. If you like to meet me and experience my style of teaching mindfulness, then you’re always welcome to join one of the Mindfulness meetups which I organise every Sunday at 13.00 (also at Granaatstraat 38).
